Terms and conditions
1.Technical Product Information.
1.1 All of our ceramic products are handcrafted, and although we use technology for some of the forming processes, the detailing, glazing, and final finishing of the pieces are done by hand. For this reason, they may vary in color, size, and shape.
1.2 One of the common characteristics of ceramics is the appearance of pinholes (small holes on the surface) as well as superficial striations in the glaze. These are not structural cracks, therefore they do not affect the quality or durability of the pieces and consequently we do not consider them a defect.
1.3 The colors and finishes shown on the website vary from the physical pieces due to the technical characteristics of each monitor.
1.4 The durability of the products will depend primarily on the care they receive. Regular cleaning is recommended for pots, especially enameled ones, to prevent the accumulation of salts from the water. Dishes and kitchen accessories, despite being fired at 1160°C, must be handled carefully to maintain their optimal condition.
1.5 Clay is a natural raw material containing both organic and inorganic materials. The degradation of these products is a natural process that will eventually occur; the speed of the process will depend on the care taken and the geographical location of the pots. In coastal areas, the relative humidity and the salts it contains can cause a corrosive effect on our products; therefore, they are not guaranteed for use on beaches.
1.6 Nitrophosca is one of the fertilizers not recommended for plants in our pots because its high phosphorus content shortens the lifespan of our pots.
1.7 The furniture is generally made of pine wood and the patinated ones are handmade, likewise, because they are natural materials they will present variations in tone and texture.
1.8 Some unique pieces of furniture are restored from antiques and are delivered in the condition they are found.

Tips to prolong the good condition of your pot.
Well watered plants.
The most important point will be choosing the correct irrigation, which will depend on the type of plant, the substrate, the climate, etc.
It should be noted that excess moisture in the substrate can also cause the appearance of fungal diseases (fungi, bacteria, etc.) that significantly damage the appearance and/or structure of the pot.
Likewise, quality water must be used, with adequate levels of salinity, hardness and toxicity.
Well-drained pots.
It is essential that pots with plants have good drainage, that is, the holes in the base should not be obstructed.
To allow excess water to drain properly, it is recommended to place a layer of gravel or pottery chips at the bottom of the pot. This material insulates the substrate from stagnant water and prevents the plant from rotting or the pot from absorbing too much moisture.
Plants that are most sensitive to waterlogging should be placed in a high location, on decorative stands or flower pot stands.
Care should be taken to remove water from flowerpot saucers and containers with water reservoirs that lack an overflow.
Another action that promotes drainage is choosing a suitable substrate. A good mix that allows the soil to ventilate.
Well-fertilized pots.
Another recommendation to extend the life and health of your pot is to choose the right fertilizer and follow its instructions.
Many chemical fertilizers, as well as some natural soil amendments such as ash or compost, cause salt buildup in the substrate. For potted plants, this buildup can appear as a white crust on the pot body and deteriorate the finish or even the body itself.
Use quality water.
Although water is typically attributed characteristics such as odorless, tasteless, and colorless, we must emphasize what we cannot see and that is in solution. In particular, the salt content, since the speed with which a substrate absorbs a given amount of water depends on the type and quantity of salts.
Salinity is considered the total amount of salts dissolved in the water, regardless of its type. As a substrate dries, its salt concentration increases.
Considering that the pot is made of a porous material like clay, which can normally be considered a natural filter, and that it must have a certain percentage of irrigation water absorption, we must understand that due to the microfiltration that occurs, the pot can become a barrier that retains all the impurities suspended in the water with which it is irrigated. Therefore, as a result of this natural process and the quality of the water, certain surface characteristics such as scale or saltpeter may or may not appear on the surface of the pot. These are not considered a manufacturing defect but rather a condition of use.
